How to report infringing material, and how we respond.

SelectoPicks LLC respects copyright. If you believe material on Selectopicks infringes a copyright you own or control, send a notice using the process below and we will act on it promptly.

Sending a notice

Email hello@selectopicks.com with the subject line "DMCA notice", including:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed.
  • The exact URL on this site where the material appears, precise enough for us to find it.
  • Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and that under penalty of perjury you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

Incomplete notices slow everything down, so please include all of it. Knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a notice can expose you to liability for damages.

What we do

We review the notice, and where it is valid we remove or disable access to the material and notify whoever posted it. We keep a record of notices received.

Counter-notice

If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, send a counter-notice to the same address with your contact details, identification of the removed material and its previous location, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief it was removed by mistake, your signature, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court. We may restore the material after the period the law provides unless the original complainant files a court action.

Repeat infringement

We terminate access for repeat infringers where applicable.

Brand names, logos and screenshots may appear on this site for identification, comparison and review. That is nominative use and does not imply endorsement or affiliation. If you believe a specific use goes beyond that, write to us and we will look at it.
