Affiliate tracking

This is the category that pays for the site, so it deserves a plain explanation. When you click a "Visit Site" button, the affiliate network or the brand sets a cookie on the destination site recording that Selectopicks referred you. If you then buy something, that cookie is how the brand knows to pay us a commission. It typically contains a publisher identifier and a click identifier, and it usually lasts between 24 hours and 90 days depending on the programme.

These cookies are set by the network or brand, not by us, and are governed by their privacy policies. The networks whose programmes we participate in include Impact, CJ Affiliate, Awin, FlexOffers, ShareASale and Rakuten Advertising.

Two things worth being clear about: this tracking does not change the price you pay, and it does not tell us what you bought. We see commission reports, not your order.
